Baie Nettle - Ocean and Lagoon

Nettle Bay Beach is on the French side of the Simpson Bay Lagoon. Since the water is so flat here, it's ideal for many watersports, especially skiing. Nettle Bay is home to a number of excellent full service hotels and is a short distance from the French side capital of Marigot.

For those of you who prefer the soft white sand of the Caribbean side of Nettle Bay, Layla's Beach Bar is for you. This chic beach bar is within walking distance from all of the area's hotels. Layla offers a sophisticated French menu, ranging from fresh catch of the day, grilled to perfection and smothered in a special "South of France" olive sauce, to a tender tenderloin with homemade pepper sauce on the side. Fresh frozen drinks and an extensive wine list are offered for your thirsty pleasure.
