Regina LaBega

As the Director of Tourism for the St. Maarten Tourist Bureau, I am both professionally and personally pleased you are making a virtual visit to St. Maarten though our new and improved official website. As we say in English, welcome. As we also say in Dutch, welkom!

Before you continue on your tour through virtual St. Maarten, with its wealth of natural beauty and many new beautification and tourism product enhancements, I invite both the traveling public and the travel agent community to share with us your feedback on this Internet vacation experience.

As an island nation whose economy is based on one industry - tourism - it is of the utmost importance that every visitor - either virtual or real -- to St. Maarten has a positive and memorable experience. An experience that leaves you wanting more as you browse the web, just as you might want one or two days more at the end of your vacation stay.

I urge you, don't hesitate to be among the savvy travelers this year and next to sample our burgeoning tourism product on the Caribbean's most "Friendly Island," Dutch St. Maarten.

Zie je in Sint Maarten! (See you in St. Maarten!)
