Product categories such as Hair Care, Cosmetics, Baby Care, Skin Care, Feminine Care and Eye Care, to name just a few, are therefore broadly displayed with a wide variety of brands with competing prices. In need of special products such as sports bandages, sea sickness or sun block? No problem!

The pharmacy prides itself with its large collection of products and keeps this offer up to date by making sure that products not available through local suppliers are still present, by ordering them through the United States and Europe. By doing so, the pharmacy offers products which may not be available elsewhere on the island.

The pharmacy also specializes in marine medical kits, advice and refills of your First Aid Kits and the replacement of expired medications.

The whole team is very knowledgeable about the medicines and vitamins in store and will take their time to explain these to you.

Voted Best Pharmacy 2007 and 2009
The Friendly Island Pharmacy has grown from its initial launch in 1988 as the Friendly Island Drugstore, to a full service pharmacy that adheres to the individual needs.  We are proud to say that we are still on top! We were awarded  Best Pharmacy in 2007 as well as 2009 by the readers of our leading newspaper “The Daily Herald”.  We strive to uphold being the preferred pharmacy on the island by delivering great service to our customers, as well as maintaining the largest selection of pharmacy and drugstore items on the island to serve as a one stop shop for our customers.

St. Maarten is a multi-cultural island and this can already be seen within our team. Our staff comes from a wide variety of places: not only St. Maarten, but also from Surinam which is a former Dutch Colony, The Netherlands, St Martin, Saba and Dominica. Seeing our different backgrounds our combined staff speaks English, Dutch, Creole, French, Spanish and Papiamento.

A Medical Clinic is also present in the Union Plaza for your convenience. If all the above has not yet convinced you, the pharmacy has ample free parking space in front of its location for all of its customers, thus there is no excuse not to hop in and visit the pharmacy yourself!
