St. Maarten's largest resort is centrally located in the Pelican neighborhood among a group of hotels. You'll find the Dollar/Thrifty Car Rental desk in the resort's lobby. The Simpson Bay Resort & Marina is a perfect location to serve all of Simpson Bay.

The Oyster Bay Beach Resort is close to the major attractions and resort areas on the island's eastern coast, including Orient Beach.

The Divi Little Bay Beach Resort is one of the island's leading hotels and the Dollar/Thrifty office is located on premises in its own charming hut with a generous parking lot for the rental car fleet.
RENTAL LOCATION: WYNDHAM SAPPHIRE BEACH CLUB & RESORT
Dollar/Thrifty Car Rental has a rental desk at the Wyndham Sapphire Beach Club & Resort - ideally located to service the Western part of the island, including Porto Cupecoy and the elegant estate neighborhood of Terres Basses.
Rates at Dollar/Thrifty are ultra-competitive for the complete fleet. The cars are well maintained, and the company doesn't keep them in service for more than a few years. You will always get a recent model of the vehicle class you booked.
Their rates are so low that we would like to encourage you to consider upgrading to an upscale car. Put it into the right perspective: just for the price of a nice dinner, you could upgrade from basic transportation to the luxury you deserve on your holidays! The dinner is finished in a couple of hours, but your rental car is with you for all of your vacation days. No matter the time of the year, prices remain the same. It is suggested for customers to call for rates for any bookings between December 10th to January 2nd.
ARRIVING AT THE AIRPORT
Once you passed through immigration and pick up your luggage, walk through the exit and enter the Arrival Hall. As soon as you go through the sliding doors, look straight ahead: there are several car rental booths, with Dollar/Thrifty occupying the most convenient one right next to the main exit of the building. Provide the attendant with your rental details (reservation number, etc.). If you have no reservation, please inquire if cars are available.
RENTAL PROCEDURE
You will be directed to the pick-up area of our air-conditioned shuttle bus, which is directly outside the arrival hall. No need to walk the few hundred yards to the main office, where your car will be waiting. Inside the main office, just complete the paperwork, carefully inspect the vehicle released to you and off you go. On very few days of the year, around major holidays and with many flights arriving at similar hours, our rental desk might have to handle a lot of clients. In this case, our comfortable and air-conditioned waiting area, equipped with a flat-screen TV, lets the minutes pass quickly.
INSPECTING THE CAR
Before you happily drive away in your Dollar/Thrifty rental car, please take the time to inspect it together with our representative. It is important that all imperfections – from little dings to scratches on the paint – are noted on the form provided to you. Our representatives are instructed to document minor damages as precisely as humanly possible, but they might overlook something, and you must contribute to the inspection process. Once you are satisfied that the form has been completed correctly, sign it and the vehicle will be released to you.
Dollar/Thrifty Car Rental created a first-class main office a stone-throw away from the International Airport and right on the shores of Simpson Bay Lagoon. Combined with a convenient booth in the arrival hall, clients will receive their rental car with a minimal amount of wait and transfer time. No standing in line in the tropical sun after a long trip from a colder climate.

RESPECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
While designing the new main office a few years back, protecting the environment was a major concern. That's why the car maintenance area of the facility is equipped with the most modern technology to filter water used for washing the vehicles and to recycle it. There is no gray water allowed to run into the sensitive ecosystem of the lagoon. Dollar/Thrifty hopes that other companies are following their lead in environmental awareness.
